Season 2, Episode 3: Aus-vasion Day Special (Take 2)

Well. We recorded a whole episode - which kid you not, we thought was probably our best - only for our computer to sh$t the bed and not save the audio. So the champions we are, we recorded again, albeit a little more intoxicated and sloppier. Luckily we had VBs and cheese & onion Smith's to get us through the 40 degree weather. Happy Australia/Unhappy Invasion Day everyone! 

Take two of this week's ep, and we get a bit discombobulated and end up doing Hold My Beer somewhere near the beginning. Season 2, Episode 2: The Better Chapman Sponsored Episode

The Freed Man Podcast manages to do two weeks in a row on time, a true miracle. We have our third sponsor (well to be fair, I kinda insisted I take the beer from my friend so he's a default sponsor), Phil and I both got Nintendo Switches from Santa, T nominates an actual lifesaving hero for Hero of the Week (but he still doesn't win) and Chappy forgot to ask, so we asked for him.

We jump straight into Feats of Manliness, which this week marks a closing chapter in T's life, Adzo is an average dad, and Phil did his taxes (00:22-14:15); Hero and Dad jokes of the week, including Chokeavich, Navalnyvich and Maroubra-Lifesaverich. Season 2, Episode 1: Return of the PHAT

Thank the maker 2020 is over, now we can look forward to a great 2021! Not much has happened since we've been on break right? Borders are open and free, America is perfect and just, and NRL players are keeping it in their pants.

We start with a welcome back, Phil is back in the Premier State, a brief summary of what's been happening, as well as our Feats of Manliness (00:20-18:03); next up it's our Hero and Dad jokes of the week, where Arnie features, Phil gets earthly and Bill and Ted strike back (18:11-29:20); The TBA Wrap is dedicated to that clusterfuck of a country, the USA (29:28-53:54); Adzo has some classic takedowns on his Sportsdown on Mitchell Pearce and all those other mongrels, and we also discuss the NFL merging with Nickelodeon, as well as Phil's FA Cup wrap (54:06-75:21); Phil shat the bed with his Hold my Beer selection. We're not angry, just disappointed (75:30-92:08); and then we wrap up with Chappy Asks - spoiler alert, it's about me again - and a little Sydney news that's real classy as it's about Lucios (92:18-107:31)

December 24: Episode 10 - A Festivus for the Rest of Us

Christmas is cancelled, holidays are cancelled, Channukah is finished. So what better time than to air our grievances about State premiers, delivery services, online travel agencies and life in general.

Phil made it across the border in time so we Zoom'd like champions (spoiler alert: Zoom sucks). We start - having already drunk considerably - by talking about how depressing life is then go into the first ever 'A Freed Man Festivus Airing of Grievances Special' - including a great solution to mass COVID testing involving watching cricket and eating Four N Twenties (05:56-25:32); next up it's our Hero and Dad jokes of the week, but Adzos is a little too highbrow (25:39-35:23); Sterling is busy with the AFL integrity unit at the moment - Adzo has all the details in his Sportsdown wrap and we also debate with Phil as to the importance of the role of coach (35:33-54:45); Hold my NOG & Halal Snack Packs - Adzo and T are drinking Batch American Pale Ale, Zephyr Apple Crumble Infused Cider, Bundaberg Infused Rum Nog with Baileys Cream, cheap red wine and a couple of HSPs - it's Xmas after all so who the hell cares (54:55-71:15); we count down our top Xmas movies/specials of all time - Christmas Vacation rules the roost (71:21-80:45); and then we wrap up with Chappy Asks and a little Sydney news - though this week Sydney just sucks (80:51-90:42)

December 16: Episode 9 - Hold my Beer State of Origin presented by Anonymous

The boys are back together and we have a new sponsor: no other than, anonymous! There's a travel bubble coming, Phil becomes a father, Dad Joke of the Week joins Hero of the Week, T takes back his hatred of the Phantom Menace, Adzo lets us know what Hunter the NRL Integrity Unit intern has been up to, the State of Origin Hold my Beer puts XXXX against New and we finish off with Chappy Asks.

December 7: Episode 8 - AusMericans Special Part Two

When Adam was in Melbourne and Phil was recovering from his 'procedure', I - along with guest host A Grunstein...no wait, that's too obvious...we'll call him Adam G - sat down with some bourbon in hand and spoke with our Brother from another Mother Ausmerican Brian Carey about all things America post-election and yes, we're still looking for some right wing friends! (0:00-28:15); we then had a big yarn about the all encompassing New York Times 25 Greatest Actors of the 21st Century list - including a heated discussion about the talents of one Keanu Reeves (28:28-45:41)

November 30 - Episode 7: Presented by Carroll Construction & Carpentry

Phil is Phil again (but he's no Greg Norman), Adzo went to Melbourne and ate a typical Jetstar meal and I saved the environment (0:00-15:27); Again we confuse ourselves in our Hero of the Week - David Prowse or Attenborough? Maradona or Cahill? (15:33-26:35); The Carroll Construction & Carpentry Wrap: Sam Carroll is our hotseat millionaire hero as we discuss monoliths in Utah, what the deal is with Chinese Tweets, the Simpsons foresaw the Denver Broncos and much more! (26:44-46:58); Hold my Beer - Balters is back!
